Our Pastor
Russ Stephens
Bro. Russ has been interim pastor of Calvary Baptist Church since July 2025. Since retiring in 2018, Russ has served six churches as interim pastor, with three of those six being in right here in DeKalb County.
The Southern Illinois native has pastored churches in Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Kentucky. He was privileged to be the pastor of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, Tn for thirty years. He began pastoring churches in 1972, while still a senior in high school.
Pator Stephens has resided in Lebanon, Tn since 1985, along with his wife Theresa. They have two grown children who also reside in the area and four wonderful grandchildren. Russ enjoys woodworking, anything else he can do in his shop, and watching sports.
Our Deacons
Chad Driver
Chad has been a deacon at Calvary for 4 years. He is married to Tara and they have two lovely daughters, Caroline and Lillie Cate.
David Gash
David has been a deacon at Calvary for 25 years. He is married to Tina and they have two young adult children, Caleb and Callie, and two grandsons, Britton and Oliver.
Ryan Magness
Ryan has been a deacon at Calvary for 12 years. He is married to Leah and they have two teenage children, Luke and Laura.
Shawn Puckett
Shawn has been a deacon at Calvary for 12 years. He is married to Angela and they have two young adult children, Shawna and John, and one grandson, Caleb.
